Meet the Founders

Aaryan Senthilvanan

Aaryan Senthilvanan is the Co-Founder and Lead Researcher of Syalis Labs, a student-run nonprofit research institution dedicated to empowering high school researchers worldwide. Driven by curiosity, rigor, and a commitment to scholarly excellence, Aaryan (with Lyudong) independently conceptualized, researched, and published the Bravizine paper, setting the foundation for Syalis Labs' mission to democratize access to high-quality scientific research. He leads the lab's initiatives in mentorship, institutional affiliation, and publication guidance, fostering a culture where young scientists can transform ideas into recognized contributions. Beyond research, Aaryan is passionate about building networks, teaching students the skills they need to navigate the scientific publishing world, and creating opportunities for every motivated student to engage in rigorous, impactful science.

Lyudong Yan

Lyudong Yan is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Syalis Labs, spearheading the lab's technical and scientific endeavors. A published student researcher, Lyudong brings expertise in experimental design, data analysis, and peer-reviewed publication, guiding students through the full research process from ideation to journal submission. With a focus on mentorship and collaboration, Lyudong ensures that Syalis Labs' members gain hands-on experience in conducting meaningful, reproducible research while cultivating the skills necessary to succeed in the global scientific community. He is dedicated to creating a supportive, innovation-driven environment where young researchers are encouraged to explore bold ideas and achieve professional-level recognition.
